MOLASSES CAKE 
1 c. sorghum or molasses
2 c. self-rising flour
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
3/4 c. milk
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter

Cream butter and sugar together, mix in eggs and vanilla. Add milk and flour, alternately blending well. Add molasses. Pour mixture into greased 10-inch iron skillet.

Bake at 350°F for 1 hour or until cake is done.
