JANEL'S BEST LOW-FAT TURKEY
BURGERS
 
1 lb. ground turkey breast
1-2 tbsp. Dijon mustard
1/2 onion, finely chopped
2-3 cloves garlic
spices, lemon pepper, garlic powder, salt, any that suits your taste!
reduced-fat Feta cheese
barbecue sauce (your favorite)

Mix the first three ingredients together, then crush garlic through a garlic press and mix well into the meat mixture. Season, to taste.

Form into patties and fill the center of each patty with a good amount of the Feta cheese and enclose the cheese inside the middle of each patty.

I like to use smoking chips on the grill and BBQ these.

When they are almost done cooking, spread each one with the BBQ sauce and let cook just a minute or two longer.
