SCONES 
1 stick butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 to 1/2 c. milk
1 c. raisins

FROSTING:

1 c. powdered sugar
2 tsp. hot water

Cream butter and sugar together. Add egg and mix well. Sift together flour, salt and baking powder. Add to butter mixture. Alternating with enough milk to make a smooth dough. Add raisins. Drop by spoonful onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 15 minutes at 375 degrees. While still warm, frost with 1 cup sugar mixed with water. Enjoy.
