HOLIDAY BOURBON BALLS | |
3 c. (12 oz.) vanilla wafers, finely crushed 1 c. pecans, finely chopped 1/4 c. light corn syrup 2 tbsp. unsweetened cocoa 1/2 c. bourbon 1/2 c. granulated sugar In a large bowl, thoroughly mix all ingredients except for the 1/2 cup of sugar. Shape mixture into 1 inch balls. Roll balls in the sugar. Store in a tightly covered container for at least 3 days before serving to allow flavors to mellow. Keeps up to 2 weeks in a tightly covered container. Yields 3 1/2 dozen balls at 85 calories each. |
