WALNUT FROSTIES 
FILLING:

2 1/4 c. walnuts, chopped (I use pecans)
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. sour cream

Combine above ingredients and set aside.

COOKIE:

1 c. butter
2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs, well beaten
2 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. baking soda
4 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt

Mix butter and brown sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. Stir in flour, soda, and salt. Roll dough into balls, making a large depression in center with thumb. Fill as full as possible with above filling. Bake at 350 degrees until light brown. Makes about 5 dozen.
