FLOUR TORTILLAS 
9 1/2 c. flour
5 tsp. salt
3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. Crisco

Combine all ingredients in a large bowl, blend until flour is crummy. Add hot tap water until flour has pie crust consistency. Knead for 5 minutes, wrap and let stand for 1/2 hour. Make small balls, roll out on floured surface. Put on hot griddle until spotty brown.
