SHERRY BEEF 
3-5 lb. chuck roast
1 to 2 chopped onions
1 pkg. onion soup
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
1 can cooking sherry (soup can)
Fresh or canned mushrooms

Cut meat in cubes. Layer on bottom of roaster pan. Add onions, onion soup, 2 cans of mushroom soup, sherry and mushrooms. Put lid on and cook in oven at 300 degrees for 3 hours. Never needs to be looked at. Serve over noodles or rice.
