BEEF CASSEROLE SHERRY 
2 lbs. stewing beef
1 can mushroom soup
1 can mushrooms
1 clove garlic, mashed
1/4 c. sherry
Salt
1 pkg. onion soup mix (only use onions from the package-no seasoning)

Mix soup, mushrooms, garlic and wine in bowl. Pour over meat and stir. Bake, covered, at 350 degrees for 3 hours. Use foil under casserole.
