COUNTRY FRIED STEAK 
3 or 4 slices round steak
2 onions, sliced
1 bell pepper, sliced
Salt & pepper

If steak is large, cut into serving pieces. Salt and pepper to steak. Batter in flour. Brown in skillet with small amount of grease. Take up steak and put in baking pan. Pour off all the grease in skillet except enough to make gravy. Brown small amount of flour, adding salt and pepper and enough water to make a good gravy. Put sliced onion and bell pepper on top of steak and pour gravy over this. Cover baking pan with tin foil. Place in oven at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until steak is real tender.
