Pour 1 cup flour into a small bowl. Add 1 teaspoon salt and 1 teaspoon black pepper, mix well. Take each piece of tenderized steak and roll in the flour on both sides. Cover well with flour. Take 1 large skillet and heat 1 cup of Crisco in it. When the Crisco is hot, reduce heat to medium. Place each piece of steak into skillet and broth both sides. When steak is brown on both sides, drain off all excess grease. When grease is drained pour enough water into the skillet to completely cover all pieces of steak. When covered with water, cover with lid and reduce heat to simmer. Cook on simmer until steak is tender. The water will form a gravy.
