FRUIT AND PASTRY 
2 c. of any mixture of firm raw fruit

TOPPING:

2/3 c. sugar
1 egg
1/4 stick butter
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. flour

Such as berries, apples, peaches, plums, seedless grapes.

Cut fruit into reasonable pieces as needed and place in a 9" deep-sided pie plate. Work dry topping ingredients into butter and add beaten egg. Dribble topping over fruit. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 1/2 hour.
