MOSTACCIOLI 
1/2 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. green pepper, chopped
1/2 c. onion, chopped
2 c. canned tomatoes
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
1/2 c. water
1 bay leaf
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
8 oz.Mostaccioli noodles, cooked & drained according to pkg. directions
1/2 lb. Velveeta cheese, thinly sliced
Parmesan cheese, grated

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Brown meat; add pepper and onion. Cook until tender. Stir in tomatoes, tomato paste, water and seasonings. Simmer until well blended. Layer in a 2 quart greased casserole, noodles, sauce, cheese; repeat. Sprinkle with Parmesan. Bake 30 minutes, uncovered. Six to 8 servings.

For a large group, this recipe doubles or triples well.
