CHEESE RAMEKINS | |
3 oz. (3/4 oz.) sharp process American cheese, shredded 2 slightly beaten egg yolks 1 c. soft bread crumbs 1 c. milk, scalded 2 stiffly beaten egg whites Reserve 2 tablespoons cheese. Mix remaining cheese, egg yolks, crumbs, and milk. Fold in egg whites. Turn into two 1 1/2 cup casseroles. Top with reserved cheese. Bake at 325 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Serve immediately. Serves 2. |
