BAKED CHEESE & MACARONI 
2 c. macaroni
4 tbsp. flour
4 tbsp. butter
2 c. milk
3/4 lb. American cheese
1 tsp. salt
Butter
Soft bread crumbs

Cook macaroni in 2 quarts boiling, salted water until tender. Drain. Make a sauce with flour, butter, milk and salt. Grate cheese into the sauce, reserving a little to grate over top of macaroni. Place macaroni in a buttered baking dish, alternating layers with cheese sauce. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Top with buttered bread crumbs. Bake at 350 degrees until hot through and crumbs are brown.
