CABBAGE NOODLES 
4 c. shredded cabbage
1 sm. onion, sliced thin and separated
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. poppy seeds
1/2 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper
2 c. cooked med. sized noodles

In a 2 quart casserole combine all ingredients except egg noodles. Cover and microwave 5-6 minutes on high or until cabbage is tender, stirring after 1/2 the cooking time. Stir in the noodles. I like to add a little sour cream. Serves 4-6.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
