IDLEWWOOD NOODLES 
1/4 c. butter
8 c. cabbage, coarsely chopped
1 c. apple, peeled and chopped
1/2 c. onion
1 tbsp. poppy seeds
1 tsp. caraway seeds, optional
2 tbsp. cider vinegar
2 c. med. egg noodles, cooked and drained
2 tbsp. cider vinegar
4 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled
1/2 c. sour cream
1 tsp. salt

Combine and saute in butter, cabbage, apple, onion, poppy seeds, salt, caraway seeds, and 2 tbsp. cider vinegar. Saute for 10 minutes. Add egg noodles and simmer for 15 minutes. Stir in 2 tbsp. vinegar, sprinkle with bacon. Garnish with sour cream. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
