1 egg, beaten
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped tart apples
1/2 c. chopped walnut meats

Combine first three ingredients, add next three and blend well. Add apples and nuts. Spread in greased 8 x 8 pan or pie tin. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Serve warm with ice cream.
