APPLE SUNSHINE DESSERT 
4 to 5 med. (1 1/2 to 2 lb.) Winesap apples, pared and cored
1/2 c. each sugar and nonfat dry milk
2/3 c. uncooked quick-cooking oats
1/4 c. each flaked coconut, chopped almonds, and packed brown sugar
2 tbsp. each wheat germ and sesame seed
1/2 tbsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/4 c. butter, melted
Dairy sour cream or yogurt

Slice apples to measure 4 cups; reserve 8 or 9 slices. Toss remaining apples with sugar and dry milk; turn into 1 1/2 quart baking dish. Arrange reserved slices on top. Cover with foil; bake at 375 degrees 15 minutes. Combine remaining ingredients except sour cream or yogurt; mix well. Uncover apples and sprinkle with oat mixture. Bake, uncovered 18 to 20 minutes or until topping is golden brown. Serve warm, topped with sour cream or yogurt.
