CARAMEL PIE 
4 eggs
1 3/4 c. sugar
6 tbsp. butter
3 tbsp. flour
2 1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Cook in double boiler the 3/4 cup of sugar, flour, egg yolks and milk. Caramelize 1 cup of sugar until rich brown. Add butter. Pour into other mixture. Add vanilla. Pour into baked pie shell and cover with meringue made from egg whites. Use 1 tablespoon of sugar to each egg white.
