EGG CASSEROLE | |
8 slices bread 8 slices American or Velveeta cheese 1 1/2-2 lbs. sausage or ham or bacon or hamburg 14 eggs 3 tsp. dry mustard 5 to 5 1/2 c. milk Option: mushrooms, peppers, onions, tomatoes, potatoes Grease 9 x 13 inch glass pan. Lay bread on bottom, lay cheese on top of bread. Fry bacon, sausage etc., drain. Crumble over cheese. Beat eggs, add milk, and any other ingredients. Pour over mixture. Cover with foil. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. Small portion: Cut recipe in half - use smaller pan. |
