SIMPLY GOOD SALAD | |
1 head of lettuce, chopped 3 or 4 green onions, chopped 1/4 head red cabbage 3 or 4 boiled eggs, chopped 1 cucumber, chopped 1 c. chopped broccoli and/or cauliflower 2 or 3 lg. tomatoes, chopped 1/2 to 3/4 c. sunflower seeds 1/2 to 3/4 c. bacon, crispy & crushed (or bacon bits) Mix lettuce, onions, cabbage, cucumbers, broccoli, cauliflower, tomatoes, (add or delete ingredients to desired taste). Add 1/2 of the chopped eggs, 1/2 of sunflower seeds, and 1/2 of bacon; mix together with vegetables then use the remainder of eggs, sunflower seeds, and bacon to top salad, then serve. By using this many tomatoes you can go without adding dressing because the tomatoes cause a "juicy" dressing, very healthy. |
