DUMPLINGS 
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 heaping tsp. baking powder
Lard, 1/2 of walnut
1 egg
1/2 c. milk

Mix all dry ingredients. Beat egg and add it. Then add a little milk at a time. Roll out thin and cut into pieces. Cook 20 minutes with lid on kettle and 20 minutes without lid.
