INDIVIDUAL SHERRY WINE MEAT
LOAVES
 
Make sauce early in the day.

SAUCE:

Combine in medium saucepan, cook on stove top: 1/2 tbsp. cornstarch 2 tbsp. brown sugar 3/4 c. sherry 1 tbsp. sherry 1 tbsp. vinegar 1 tsp. prepared mustard

Stir and simmer until thick.

MEAT LOAVES:

Combine: 1 c. fresh bread crumbs (about 2 slices) 2 tbsp. minced onion 1 1/2 lb. ground beef 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper 1/2 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce (the other half of can)

1. Mix ingredients. Shape into 4-5 loaves.

2. Put in 9 inch square pan.

3. Bake 40 minutes in 300 degree oven.

4. Pour off juices. Pour sauce over meat.

5. Cook 1/2 hour longer. Baste a couple of times.

Each loaf serves 1 person. Serve with rice and tossed salad.
