GRANNY'S APPLE PIE 
4-6 tart apples
1 c. self-rising flour
1 c. sugar
1 egg, beaten
1/2 c. Crisco
1 to 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 to 1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. flour
Water to cover bottom of pan

Grease dish, sprinkle with flour, place apples in pan, sprinkle with cinnamon, flour, sugar and water. Mix flour, sugar, egg and Crisco. Spread over the apples. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
