TOMATO SOUP CAKE | |
2 c. flour 1 c. sugar 2 eggs 1/2 c. shortening 1/2 tsp. nutmeg Dash salt 1 can tomato soup 2 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 tsp. cloves 1/2 c. raisins 1/2 c. walnuts, chopped 1/2 c. cherries, cut up Cream eggs and shortening; add sugar and continue to eat. Add half a can of tomato soup. Sift flour and dry ingredients; add half flour and beat. Add rest of the can of tomato soup and remaining flour. Beat well; add raisins, nuts and cherries; mix well. Put in greased and floured tube pan. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees. |
