RAISIN SUGAR COOKIES 
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. lard
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. lemon
2 tsp. baking powder
2 c. stewed raisins
3 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda in 1 c. raisin water
4 c. flour

Cream sugar and lard, add eggs, then raisins. Sift flour, baking powder and cinnamon. Add to creamed mixture. Add lemon. Alternate water mixture and flour mixture. Spoon on cookie sheet and bake at 375 degrees for 7 minutes.
