GINNY'S PISTACHIO CAKE 
1 box yellow cake mix
1 box pistachio instant pudding
4 eggs
3/4 c. water
3/4 or 1 c. oil

Mix all ingredients well with electric mixer. Pour into greased and floured 9 x 12 inch pan. Sprinkle 1/2 cup nuts on top and bake at 325 degrees for about 45 minutes. About 5 minutes before cake is done, add glaze below and cook until toothpick comes out clean.

GLAZE:

1/4 c. water
2 tbsp. butter (butter)
1 c. powdered sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
16 oz. pecans

Bring water and butter to boil in small saucepan. Remove from heat. Add vanilla, powdered sugar and mix well. Pour over cake about 5 minutes before cake is done.
