RUBY'S FIG PRESERVES | |
1 lb. figs (small white is best) 3/4 lb. sugar Dash of salt 1/4 lemon, sliced thin Wash figs in soda water and peel if desired. Mix fruit, sugar and lemon. Let stand over night or several hours to make own liquid. Boil stirring often until liquid jells. |
