VEGETABLE PORK STEW 
This is one of our favorite casseroles.

1 can small whole white potatoes with the cabbage
1 tbsp. salad oil
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 clove garlic, minced
3 carrots, pared and sliced
2 tbsp. flour
2 c. water
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sugar
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 bay leaf
1/2 tsp. dried leaf thyme
2 c. shredded cabbage (1/4 med. head)

Brown meat in salad oil in Dutch oven. Add onion, garlic and carrots. Cook 5 minutes, sprinkle with flour and mix well. Stir in water and lemon juice. Add salt, sugar, pepper, bay leaf and thyme. Cover and cook over low heat for 1 hour. Add cabbage and cook 20 minutes longer. Potatoes can be added, if desired.

Serves 4-6.

After going through many cookbooks and recipes, this is the closest to what I was looking for. The recipe does not state the amount of pork. However, it looks good and I'll have it tonight. Thanks.
