DELUXE STRAWBERRY PIE 
2 c. whole berries
1 c. berries, mashed
3 tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. sugar
1 drop red food coloring (if desired)

Spread the whole berries over the bottom of a baked pie shell. In a saucepan mash 1 cup of berries and the cornstarch with the sugar; mix well. Bring to a boil gradually, stirring constantly until thickened and clear looking. Add food coloring. Cool, pour over berries in pie shell. Chill in refrigerator.
