TURKEY OR CHICKEN SOUFFLE | |
8 slices bread 1 pt. broth 4 eggs 2 sticks butter 1 cooked chicken, boned and chopped or 2 to 3 c. chopped turkey meat 2 cans cream of mushroom soup 1 cans cream of celery soup 1 c. sweet milk 2 tbsp. minced onion or onion powder Heat broth, butter, milk together. Pour over bread mash well, add eggs, minced onion, 1 can mushroom soup. Place chopped up meat in bottom of pan, pour other ingredients over meat then add other can mushroom soup and can celery soup. Bake in 350 degree oven until cooked out and lightly browned like dressing, usually about 1 hour, maybe less depending on oven. |
