SAUSAGE AU GRATIN | |
1 (12 oz.) pkg. smoked sausage links 1 c. Velveeta cheese 1 c. sour cream 1 tbsp. minced onion 2 tsp. parsley flakes 1/2 tsp. salt 6 med. potatoes, cooked, pared and sliced (about 6 c.) Reserve 3 sausages; slice remaining sausages and set aside. In small mixer bowl, beat together softened cheese and sour cream until smooth. Add onion, parsley flakes and salt. Fold into potatoes with sliced sausage. Turn into 1 1/2 quart casserole. Bake in 350 degree oven for 40 minutes. Cut reserved whole sausage in halves. Arrange on top of casserole in pinwheel fashion. Bake 10 minutes more or until sausages are heated through. Serves 6. |
