a large kielbasa sausage

Make the potatoes according to the instructions on package, but before you cook them, add the kielbasa to the top.

Don't cut it up - just place it over the top.

My father loved this and it was his small contribution to what he considered womanly duties.

The sausage dripping into the potatoes gives them a great flavor.
