WALNUT COFFEE CAKE | |
1 box yellow cake mix 1 (4 1/2 oz.) pkg. vanilla instant pudding 3/4 c. water 3/4 c. oil 3 eggs 1/2 c. walnuts 1/2 c. sugar 1 tsp. cinnamon 2 tsp. milk 1 c. confectioners' sugar 3 tsp. vanilla Beat first 5 ingredients until silky smooth (approximately 5 minutes), then add 2 teaspoons vanilla - beat again. Pour into greased and floured 13x9 pan. Mix 1/2 cup nuts, 1/2 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon. Spread over cake and cut through with knife. Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees. Glaze: Mix 1 cup confectioners' sugar, 2 teaspoons milk and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Spread over warm cake. |
