LINGUINI WITH WHITE CLAM SAUCE 
1/4 c. butter
3/4 c. chopped onion
1 tsp. minced garlic
1/2 c. parsley
1 tsp. dried basil
1/2 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper
2 (6 1/2 oz.) cans clams, do not drain
12 oz. linguini, cooked and drained

Melt butter; add onions and garlic. Cook until tender about 5 minutes; add parsley, basil, salt, and pepper. Cook about 4 more minutes. Add clams and cook 1 minute more. Serve over hot linguini.
