HAMBURGER CASSEROLE 
1 lb. hamburger
1/2 c. onion (finely chopped)
1 can tomato soup
About 1/2 c. water
1 can green beans (drained)
Salt and pepper
About 6 med. potatoes (mashed)
3/4 c. mild cheese (grated) (can omit)

Brown hamburger and onion. Drain off grease. Add tomato soup and drained green beans, water. Add salt and pepper to taste. Put in small roaster or large casserole.

Cook potatoes until tender, drain and mash with about 1/2 cup milk, salt and pepper. Spread over meat mixture. Sprinkle with grated cheese if desired. Bake in 350 degree oven for about 50 minutes.
