ORIENTAL WILD RICE 
3/4 c. wild rice
1 lb. ground beef
1 med. onion, chopped
1/4 c. chopped green pepper
1/2 c. chopped celery
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms
1 can water chestnuts (sliced, drained)
1 can bamboo shoots (drained)
1/4 c. soy sauce

Simmer rice for about 1 hour (3 parts water-1 part rice). Change water 2 or 3 times while simmering. Brown meat. Saute onion, green pepper and celery. Mix everything together. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Do not add any salt.
