ORIENTAL BEEF AND RICE 
2/3 c. rice
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
1 tsp. salt
1 bouillon cube
3 tsp. soy sauce
1 med. onion, chopped
3 stalks celery, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
1 1/2 c. cooked beef, diced
1 3/4 c. boiling water

Cook rice until golden over medium heat. Add salt, water, bouillon cubes and soy sauce. Cover, simmer about 20 minutes.

Add remaining ingredients. Simmer, covered, 10 more minutes. (Add a little more water if necessary.)

All water should be absorbed at end of cooking time. If not, remove and allow to evaporate.
