ZESTY NIBBLES | |
14 oz. oyster crackers 1/3 c. oil 1 pkg. buttermilk salad dressing mix 1/2 tsp. lemon pepper 1/4 tsp. garlic powder (more if desired) 1/2 tsp. dried dill weed Place oyster crackers in a large plastic container. Warm the oil and pour over crackers. Combine salad dressing mix, lemon pepper, garlic powder and dill weed in small bowl. Add to crackers and rotate container to gently toss. Let stand in covered container for 24 hours. Shake several times. Place in bowl and serve. Yield: 1 quart. Preparation: 5 minutes. Standing: 24 hours. Note: May be made 1 1/2 hours before serving. Will keep for two weeks. |
