SWEET AND CRISP NIBBLES 
2 cans whole water chestnuts
1 lb. bacon
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 bottle soy sauce
1 clove garlic, mashed

Marinate drained water chestnuts in soy sauce. Add garlic. Marinate 20 minutes to 2 days. Cut pound of bacon in half. Roll one chestnut in 1/2 slice of bacon. Roll in brown sugar, pierce with toothpick to secure. Place on sided baking sheet in 300-350 degree oven for 20-30 minutes or until bacon is brown. Low salt bacon and 1/2 less sodium soy sauce can be used with no variation in taste.
