G.'S BRAN MUFFINS 
1/2 c. whole wheat flour
3/4 c. cake flour
6 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Combine the above. Stir in the following:

1/2 c. raisins
2 eggs
1/4 c. honey
1/4 c. oil
1/4 c. crushed, drained pineapple

Stir in:

3 c. whole bran
1 1/2 c. buttermilk

Mix well until smooth.

Fill COATED muffin tins 3/4 full. Bake at 400 degrees for 18 to 20 minutes. Remove from tins immediately by turning upside down on cooling rack. Makes 18 muffins.

MUFFIN SPREAD:

To COAT each muffin tin:

1/4 c. butter
6 tbsp. brown sugar
6 tbsp. white sugar
2 tbsp. honey
1 tbsp. water

Cream butter, add sugars and water until fluffy. COAT tins using about 1 to 2 teaspoons per tin. Add batter.
