DANISH PECAN COOKIES 
1 c. butter or half and half
3/4 c. light brown sugar
1 egg yolk
2 1/4 c. flour, sifted

Cream butter and sugar. Add egg yolk and cream. Sift flour several times and add to creamed mixture. Roll size of marble and flatten. Top with pecan or chopped nuts. Bake 12-15 minutes in 350 degree oven.
