EGG CUSTARD (Makes its own
crust)
 
1 c. sugar
3 tbsp. flour (self-rising)
1/4 tsp. salt
3 eggs
1/2 tsp. lemon flavoring
1/2 stick butter
1 can evaporated milk (12 oz.)

In large bowl mix sugar, salt and flour together. Add eggs one at a time, mixing after each. Add lemon flavoring and then mix in butter, stirring until mixture is smooth. Now add milk and mix slowly.

Pour into greased and floured pie (9 inch) plate. Bake at 350 degrees until a knife comes out clean when inserted in the middle of it. Cool and serve.
