1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
6 tbsp. cocoa
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt

Cream butter and add sugar slowly. Add eggs, flavoring and all dry ingredients sifted together. Heat waffle iron (not as hot as for regular waffles). Bake about 2 or 3 minutes. Serve warm with ice cream or slightly sweetened whipped cream. Makes 4 or 5 waffles.
