JOE'S PAPRIKA CHICKEN 
1 whole chicken, cut up
1 med. onion, diced
1/8 lb. butter
1 tbsp. Hungarian Paprika

Brown onions in butter. Add 1 tablespoon Hungarian Paprika and brown chicken in this mixture. Add about 3 cups water and simmer for 1 1/4 hours or until well done. (Check liquid and add water if necessary while simmering.) Serve with rice recipe below. Save the paprika sauce to pour over rice.

HUNGARIAN RICE:

Use brown rice (add 2 cups water to 1 cup rice).

Dice 1/2 medium onion and lightly brown in butter. Add rice and brown until rice turns lighter color. Add salt and water and simmer for 1 hour.

May substitute 1/4 of brown rice with wild rice if you prefer.

Use paprika sauce from chicken to pour over rice.
