GINGER KRINKLES | |
2/3 c. salad oil 1 c. sugar 1 egg, slightly beaten 2 c. flour, sifted 1 tsp. cinnamon 1 tsp. ginger 1 tsp. salt 2 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. cream of tartar 4 tbsp. molasses Mix together oil, sugar and egg. Add sifted flour with cinnamon, ginger, salt and baking soda and cream of tartar. Mix in molasses. Roll into walnuts sized balls. Then roll into granulated sugar. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 10 minutes. Do not over-bake. 350 degree oven. NOTE: Cookies will spread, so place balls of dough about 3 inches apart. |
