HAWAIIAN SPARE RIBS 
3 lbs. ribs (can also use pork chops or steak)
3/4 c. sugar
1/3 c. vinegar
1/4 c. soy sauce
1/4 tsp. ground ginger

Salt and pepper meat. Roll in flour. Fry until brown. Drain on paper towel. Mix sugar, vinegar, soy sauce and ginger. Pour over meat. Baste and turn meat. Cook 45 to 60 minutes in 350 degree oven or electric skillet.
