CHOCOLATE SNOWFLAKE COOKIES 
1-1/4 cups sugar
1/2 cup vegetable oil
4 oz. unsweetened chocolate, melted
4 eggs
1 teaspoon almond extract
2-1/2 cups flour, sifted
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup powdered sugar, sifted

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Combine sugar, oil, and chocolate in a large bowl. Add eggs and vanilla and mix well. Mix flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl and then add to chocolate mixture in thirds, mixing well after each addition. Cover and chill dough 2 hours or longer, then make 1-inch balls and roll them in powdered sugar.

Bake for 10-12 minutes on greased cookies sheets at 350°F.
