RUM CAKE | |
1 box white cake mix 1 tsp. vanilla 4 eggs 1 pkg. instant vanilla pudding 2 tbsp. oil 1 c. water ICING: 3 c. sugar 1 stick butter 1 1/4 c. water 4 tsp. rum extract Mix together thoroughly with mixer all the cake ingredients. Pour into 4 disposable bread pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Mix together the sugar, water and butter for topping - bring to a boil and boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat and add rum extract. Pour over hot cakes. Slice to serve. These freeze well and make great holiday gifts. |
