GRANDMA ELINORE'S CAPTAIN JACK | |
4 slices bacon, diced 1 med. onion, diced 1 green pepper, diced 2 cans (16 oz.) red kidney beans 1 can (3 1/2 oz.) tomato paste 2 tbsp. chili powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper 1/2 lb. Sharp Cheddar cheese, grated 5 hot dogs sliced Fry bacon until crisp, remove to paper towel. Cook onion and green pepper in remaining fat until soft. Add remaining ingredients. Cover and simmer 20 minutes. Makes 1 1/2 quarts chili mixture. |
